Flexiteek Australia makes the global top list

Australia's only authorised Flexiteek distributor, Queensland-based Aczel Marine Pty Ltd has made the Flexiteek global Top Twenty list of distributors for the first time.

Announced in the Flexiteek global distributor update for the third quarter of 2023, the Aczel inclusion is a cause for celebration because it reflects the growing acceptance of the long-lasting PVC decking by the Australian boating market.

Aczel Marine owners George and Jennifer Filippow welcomed the news of their inclusion in the top twenty distributors, which is judged on the quantity of Flexiteek product they have imported. There are scores of distributors covering all continents.

Flexiteek Australia embarked on a concentrated education of the market through major Australian boat shows following the introduction of Flexiteek 2G in 2014. As a result, the product now enjoys high recognition from boat builders and leading shipwrights around the country. All decks are manufactured at Flexiteek's Gold Coast factory, which is soon moving to a much larger, purpose-built production facility on Russell Island, a ten-minute ferry ride from Redland Bay, near Brisbane.

Flexiteek 2G is a beautiful, long lasting, high performance decking, designed to cope in all weather conditions. It is available in over 30 different colour combinations and can feature bespoke designs, logos and lettering. The exceptional quality of the product design and fitting makes it the preferred choice for boats ranging from tenders to superyachts and tourist industry ferries.
