Boat show reflects strong popularity for Flexiteek across Australia

After four busy days at the Sanctuary Cove boat show (25-28 May 2023) the Flexiteek Australia team noted a strong growth in the Flexiteek image across Australia. Interest in the product came from boat owners, boat builders and shipwrights from as far away as Perth, Tasmania, north Queensland, and even Fiji who had travelled to the popular show.

Flexiteek Australia has exhibited at boat shows in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria over the past five years to showcase their latest design work for a huge range of boats from large tourist ferries to luxury yachts, cabin cruisers, fishing boats and even small tenders.

The biggest demand for information about Flexiteek's wearing abilities came from owners of a variety of boats with work and fading real teak decks. The new teak synthetic Flexiteek decking was declared a very close replica of real teak by those owners who wanted to mix and match original teak areas still in good condition, with Flexiteek, especially in hard wearing exposed decks and duckboards.

Newcomers to Flexiteek were impressed with the product's abilities to retain the original colour and its low maintenance because of its ability to be easily cleaned of red wine and fishing stains.

Look for the Flexiteek booth at the Sydney International Boat Show from Thursday 3 August to Sunday 6 August 2023.
