Q

Does the caulking come in different colours?

Flexiteek caulking can be white, black or grey. Hard or soft caulking is used to weld two straight strips together, or used as a fixed bond between two strips. When margin boards are added, caulking is welded to the larger panel.

Q

How is the quality of Flexiteek decks controlled in the Australian market?

A

Flexiteek has sales and installation agents in most Australian states. Their responsibility is to sell the product, liaise with the customer, do the measurements, and then fit the manufactured product. The templates are sent to the Australian distributor at Aczel Marine on the Gold Coast, and all deck components are assembled and manufactured at their facility under strict quality control. The finished deck panels are then returned to the agent, (all agents are experienced shipwrights), to perform the installation. For extremely complex or large installations, the distributor or one of his experienced agents may supervise the installation.
